Major Tool and Machine is looking to add a competent and accomplished Level II NDT Technician to our team. This role will execute nondestructive testing (NDT) operations, as described in the Manufacturing Routing, on time and within the length of time estimated for the operation. Actual results in the form of work center efficiencies and non-conformances will be compared to the goals to evaluate whether the goal has been achieved. Our technicians are expected to maintain a neat, clean, orderly work area and to operate in a safe manner.Applicants should have the following:i A positive attitude and be able to work under pressurei Be a self-starteri The ability to multi-taski A good work ethic and good attendancei The ability to communicate well with all levels of employees within the companyDuties:i Support the assignments given to them by the NDT Team Leader;i Perform NDT operations and complete the associated documentation;i Apply the requirements of the Quality System in performance of daily assignments;i Report any anomalies (nonconformances, time overruns, accidents) to the NDT Team Leader;i Manage time responsibly (indirect time, breaks, etc.);i Assist team members with technical support;i Maintain the work area (cleanliness, organization, etc.);i Take part in team meetings.Job Qualification Requirements:Educational Experience i Educational requirements may be fulfilled by one or more of the following: high school diploma, education in trade school, vocational education, or apprenticeship.Certifications Required- ACCP Level II (MT, VT and UT). PT preferred as well.
