We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Product Management Director - Digital Automated Intelligence, who will support the internal Marketing organization. In this role, you will work with business partners across Marketing functions to understand business needs, and envision and design automated visualization and reporting solutions to drive insights and intelligence back into the business. You will be part of the Digital Product Management team, working closely with data engineers, data scientists, and data visualization experts along with UX experts.
Drive the digital automated intelligence product vision, strategy and roadmap for Salesforce Corporate Digital Marketing that provides business value, creates a consistent scalable design experience, enables a holistic view into the user journey, provides optimization insights, and influences marketing automation across our digital touch points.
Work backwards from the customer use cases to drive the roadmap, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements for what’s available to a user, how that triggers queries on the back end data systems, and the steps needed to build quality and consistency in the product delivery.
Craft data platform requirements including but not limited to data pipelines, alerts and analytics, data infrastructure, ETL, data quality.
Develop and implement data standards to ensure the accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels
Guide the creation of historical, current, and predictive views of business operations and information through automated dashboards, datasets, and algorithms.
Own the product lifecycle and roadmap, and prioritize features by ranking them against the strategic goals and initiatives with clear requirements for each feature and designed user experience.
Work closely with executives, engineering, other product managers, marketing campaign managers, report analysts, and user experience to turn complex data into insights through visualizations, leveraging a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of information design, user interaction, and visual best practices that resonate with stakeholders.
Evangelize the value of analytics data across the organization, and advise teams and stakeholders on the processes to track their web properties and gain analytics insights.
Be the voice and ally of business intelligence users across the organization and champion and apply data driven mindsets.
7+ years experience in a combination of product management, strategy, consulting, product analytics, data-science or an equivalent field.
B.S. or M.S. in Technology (computer science, computer engineering, applied math, statistics, engineering or other quantitative field).
Proven experience in building data products, complex interactive visualizations and working with large diverse data sets.
Proven experience working directly with senior executive leadership.
Expert communicator in written and verbal form; ability to work well with executives and peers, technologists, and ability to lead and influence across all levels of the organization.
Strategic problem solver who simplifies problems to their core elements and finds creative solutions.
Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban, as well as Jira or equivalent.
Get-it-done mindset with a strong bias towards action.
Disciplined in Design Thinking and product management principles
Strong knowledge of data models, visualization tools such as Tableau, Web Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics 360.
Familiarity with open source data visualization technologies and frameworks such as Python and R are a plus.
