As we grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to help build our Industrial Studio in the Indianapolis, IN area.
Candidates must be a licensed architect and have experience as a Project Manager on renovation and new construction building designs for Industrial, Manufacturing and Warehousing facilities
Ideal candidates must have good business skills to manage schedules, budgets and design processes for development projects. Successful candidate will interface with clients, review agencies and the design team.
Strong people management, business development, proposal development and communication skills are required and applicants should possess the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Candidates will successfully facilitate interdisciplinary coordination, and executing construction administration
Candidates will possess project planning design and construction experience, including direct client contact. In addition to Industrial, Manufacturing and Warehousing experience, project work in related markets such as Commercial/Retail and/or Mixed Use/Housing would also be beneficial
Candidates will ideally have experience building, guiding and managing a team or studio of other architects/production staff
Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and 10+ years of industrial, manufacturing and/or warehousing related work experience
Experience in both design-bid-build and design-build projects
Excellent communication and technical skills as well as a strong team player approach are required
Strong organizational skills along with written/verbal communication skills and the ability to work easily with clients, team members, consultants and other Woolpert Design staff are essential
