We have positions for experienced Transportation Project Managers in Dallas TX, Chicago IL, Boston MA, Indianapolis IN, Denver CO, Tempe AZ, South Jordan UT, San Francisco, CA and Atlanta GA.

Our teams are focused on supporting DOT clients in all of these states to improve their highways and bridges, as well as national design/build projects in both Eastern and Western regions of the US. Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate technical excellence in road/highway or Bridge design for state and regional DOT projects, and be a thought leader delivering complex projects, without sacrificing schedule and budget.

Your knowledge of various state DOT design methods, goals and objectives will be instrumental in helping us win new work and execute projects to the clients' satisfaction.

Once projects are awarded, you will oversee the execution of those projects. In this role, you will be responsible for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives.

You will plan and define program goals and devise methods to accomplish them, as well as coordinate projects through all phases of project inception, programming, design, construction and closeout.

Additional responsibilities include, managing the client, and all change order processes, managing your dedicated engineering resources, overseeing subcontractors and partners, and managing business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of your programs.

Qualifications:

12 + years of related project execution and/or program management experience on same or similar large scope design and construction management projects within Transportation (Road/Highway or Bridge)

A Bachelors' Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related Degree

Experience supporting major state DOT projects is essential

Incumbent should have a broad general technical and business background

Professional Engineer (PE) is required for most PM positions.

Ability and willingness to travel to support client and project teams

Knowledge of industry standards and must meet Parsons' project management certification requirements.
