Kelly Services QC Technician in Indianapolis, Indiana

Kelly Scientific is seeking a temp Quality Control Technician in Indianapolis, IN . This individual will visually and physically inspect final product, labeling and packaging to observe and record conformity to customer, regulatory and company specifications.

3-6 months Temp Position with Potential to Hire

Shift: 1st shift Monday and Friday 6am-2:30pm; Saturday and Sunday 6am-6:30pm. (Off Tuesday - Thursday)

Compensation: $17/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Product Lines: Verifies product, lot code, packaging and labels.

  • Supports ISO, FAMI-QS, SFSF, HACCP and SQF certifications.

  • Report food safety and quality problems to plant management.

  • Records compliance with quality standards to verify that company products and processes meet customer, company and other specifications.

  • Work performed in office and plant settings.

  • Exposure to plant environment such as noise, dust, odors, and fumes.

  • Occasionally required to lift up to 60 lbs.

  • Able to perform laboratory testing which includes but not limited to metal assay, density, pH, particle size analysis, chloride, soluble metal, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or Bachelor’s in Chemistry or related field

  • Experience with quality assurance/food manufacturing/ laboratory preferred

  • Great communication skills
