About the role:Provide Tier I and II Level IT helpdesk support for Agency?s end user devices and network resources. Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with modest team, while exhibiting ability to self-start and complete tasks. Install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, manage IT hardware and government-of-the-shelf (GOTS) or consumer-of- the-shelf (COTS) application software. Assist in resolution of anomalies affecting workstation performance related to hardware, peripherals, network interfaces, or software. Provide video teleconference (VTC) support in collaborative or executive conference rooms.Assist in technical planning of new life-cycle-replacement (LCR) inventory and maintains documentation related to resolution of anomalies, IT hardware and software inventories. Proficient Assist all end users with introduction to utilizing new workstations, government furnished equipment (GFE), application software, or security policies. Configures workstations and GFEs in compliance with security policies. Other duties as assignedOur ideal candidate:Education and experience

  • Minimum of two to three years of IT helpdesk experience supporting users on Department of Defense (DoD) Agency NIPR and SIPR Networks.

  • Possess analytical and reporting skills

  • Experience with formal ticketing system to submit, track, record progress of IT incidents

  • Experience troubleshooting the following IT hardware and applications: computers, printers, copiers, laptops/tablets, Cisco VTC, Network Layer 2 media converters, Windows 10, Enterprise Email, Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word), GOTS and COTS Applications, Apple iPhones/iPads, MobileIron, PureBred

  • Ability to troubleshoot TCP/IP, DHCP, LAN, VLAN

  • Experience with Active Directory Objects and Group Policies

  • Proactively identify anomalies and provides actions to resolve

  • Ability to lift, push and transport equipment weighing over 20 to 50 pounds

  • DoD 8140 (DoDD 8570) Level II IT Certifications: Must possess baseline certifications A+ CE and Security CE+


  • Associates or Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited institution in related technical discipline: Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Information Systems or Technology (2 to 4+ years of additional experience may be substituted for Education)

  • Security Clearance: Required to have a US Government security clearance (Secret or above)
