Partners with Information Security leaders and staff to ensure clarity and professionalism in communications and messaging, including planning, drafting and editing messages (e.g., email, dashboards, decks/presentations, speaking notes, templates, online blogs, videos, etc.) for internal Anthem audiences, associates, leadership and executives. Promotes a collective, unified information security presence and positive perception by supporting the design and implementation of communication strategy that provides the foundation for overall communication planning and guides the development and execution of messaging. Translates complex technical information into layperson's terms, including through visuals/images. Partners with leaders and staff in maintaining and building information security associate engagement.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Work with information security leadership and staff to plan, draft, review, and edit security communications, including presentations, email, dashboards, decks, speaker notes, video narrative, newsletters, online blogs, training sessions, and related promotional/announcements.
Work with colleagues, managers, and directors on department-wide collaborative and system-wide projects (for example, newsletter/online blog, information security associate engagement, Pulse updates, elevator decks, etc.).
Work with team to develop and implement a sustainable, centralized repository through OneNote, SharePoint or other library of information security communications artifacts, to support consistency, efficiency and professionalism in communications delivery.
Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with a focus on collaboration with subject matter experts, vendors, and management.
Working with subject matter experts, engineers, delivery managers, and other interdisciplinary team members, negotiate approaches to content structure and design to ensure that communication, documentation, training material, presentations communicate effectively.
Work with team to develop metrics and approach to measure and improve communication effectiveness.
Serve as SharePoint or Pulse/Oracle web services administrator.
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure that work products meet objectives, maintain focus, and are successfully delivered in a timely manner.
Review, edit, organize, and standardize complex technical text and artwork for accuracy, clarity, and completeness, including improvements for grammar, voice, style, and format.
Modify and improve documents and templates according to platform-specific content and audience needs.
Develop and provide support for professional and user-friendly templates and forms that increase efficiency, consistency, and brand/corporate identity.
Modify and improve work intake and other project-tracking processes.
Review estimates and requirements to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Prepare cost-benefit justifications for management.
Security Analyst III:
Requires a BA/BS; 3+ years of experience in a support and operations or design and engineering role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Technical security certifications (e.g. Systems Security Certified Practitioner) preferred.
Security Analyst Sr:
Requires 3 - 6 years experience in a support & operations or design & engineering role in any of the following areas: access management or network security technologies, servers, networks, telecommunications, operating systems, middleware, disaster recovery, collaboration technologies, hardware/software support or other infrastructure services role, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Must be capable of providing top-tier support for 3 or more of the information security technology common body of knowledge skill sets: 1) Access Control, 2) Application Security, 3) Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, 4) Cryptography, 5) Information Security and Risk Management 6) Legal, Regulations, 7) Compliance and Investigations, 8) Operations Security, 9) Physical (Environmental) Security, 10) Security Architecture and Design, 11) Telecommunications and Network Security. Requires BS/BA in Information Technology. Knowledge and understanding of industry-accepted data processing controls and concepts as applied to hardware, software, data, network communications, and people. Security Certifications: Technical security certifications (e.g. Systems Security Certified Practitioner) preferred.
Info Security Advisor:
Requires BS/BA Degree; 5 - 8 years experience in a support & operations or design & engineering role in any of the following areas: access management or network security technologies, servers, networks, telecommunications, operating systems, middleware, disaster recovery, collaboration technologies, or hardware/software support; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Significant experience with multiple technical and business disciplines preferred. Working knowledge and understanding of industry-accepted data processing controls and concepts as applied to hardware, software, data, network communications, and people. Security Certifications: CISSP preferred or other technical security certifications (e.g. Systems Security Certified Practitioner, Certification and Accreditation Professional).
Experience in a communications, technical writing, training development, editing, or academic role is required.
Experience designing, developing, writing or editing technical communications is required.
Working knowledge of information security technologies, concepts, and nomenclature
Ability to quickly and progressively learn about and adapt to the Anthem IT business model
Strong time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage deadlines and competing priorities
Strong project management skills and experience
Impeccable written English skills and an enthusiasm for technology-related subject matter is an asset.
Strong team player with outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to establish and follow style and usage guidelines
Ability to work closely and communicate clearly with members of interdisciplinary teams (project teams, operations teams, other enterprise teams) to develop and refine work products
