Oracle Senior Business Operations Analyst | Health Sciences Global Business Unit in Indianapolis, Indiana
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization*s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.
Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.
Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills . Ability to partner across functions. 10 plus years relevant work experience.

Job Description
The HSGBU is looking for an experienced professional to join the business planning team to help drive growth by providing business performance measurement & analysis. The successful candidate should also be able to:
detect issues based on the quantitative analysis and investigate options to resolve them, including pros and cons.
compile and present information orally, visually and in writing
making recommendations for improvement, using computer models to test them and presenting findings to management
Skills
Excellent numeric skills, written & verbal communication skills and presentation skills
Able to clearly articulate and summarise performance and variances
Highly experienced and proficient in IT – especially advanced Excel, knowledge of OBIEE desirable but not necessary. Proficient with Powerpoint.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a small team spread across North America and Europe

Responsibilities
- Creation of financial analysis for HSGBU, both regular and ad-hoc reports including:
o Monthly Management Dashboard
o Quarterly Leadership Team Power Point Deck
o Product and Customer P&Ls & Trial volumes
o Utilisation and Time Spent Analysis for Consulting
Back up resources for Director, Health Sciences Pricing
Other management Reporting in Excel and PowerPoint with collation and/or creation of content as necessary.
Financial Modelling
Able to present information when required
Manage information “databases” ( i.e. new customer database)
Support to team as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least degree level of education or equivalent
10 years of business analysis or consulting experience
Excellent communication skills
Strong self-starter, resourceful and not afraid of problem solving
Fluency with written and spoken English is required
