Salesforce Government Cloud is a trusted partner, rapidly enabling government agencies to digitally transform the business of government and revolutionize the citizen experience by meeting the security and compliance needs of their mission. Government Cloud provides security and compliance services to enable Salesforce products to meet U.S. Government regulations. We assess, monitor, and discuss ongoing risk posture and vulnerability remediation strategies and timelines with FedRAMP and DoD authorizing officials. Government Cloud engineering and operations provide:

 

U.S. citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) who does not hold dual citizenship. You agree to complete a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) for a Moderate Public Trust position with the U.S. federal government or other clearances as deemed appropriate for the role

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the proactive execution of continuous monitoring programs 

  • Conduct focused assessments of technology and process for compliance with various controls.

  • Facilitate audit engagement between assessment organizations ( internal, international, and FedRAMP) with internal teams responsible for the state and operation of Salesforce GovCloud authorized product environments. 

  • Design, validate, and document security and compliance controls.

  • Collaborate on the development of automated capabilities for evidence collection, control validation, and process execution.

  • Lead remediation and root cause analysis efforts

  • Work with Risk Management to prioritize critical controls based on company risk

  • Work with engineers to determine preventative, detection, and alerting mechanisms across the infrastructure controls and processes

  • Contribute added value to Salesforce Global Standards and common processes.

 

Requirements:

  • Compliance and Information Security experience with 

    • Analyst 3+ years of combined Compliance, risk, security, and technology experience.

​OR

  • Sr Analyst / TPM: 5-7 years of experience as a Project Manager or work in the FedRAMP ecosystem

​OR

  • Sr/Manager: 7-10+ years of Security and Compliance experience

  • Ability to interpret the intent compliance control verbiage and correlate with technology or process. 

  • Prior experience with auditing or security reviews

  • Prior experience working with production operations

  • Prior experience working in a multi-tenant cloud environment.

  • Ability to work amongst a team in time-critical situations as well as individually to complete projects and personal development work.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively articulate our message and effectively communicate across all levels of the Company.

  • Proactively works with and can influence a wide range of individuals like developers, executives, customers, regulators, and specifically our engineering partners.  

  • Results-driven, solutions-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

  • Exceptional customer service skills, including the desire to make others successful.

  • Analytical thinker with strong organizational skills; attention to detail is a must.

  • Flexibility in work schedule/intensity to address peaks and valleys in the work cycle

  • Scrummaster or Product Owner certification in Agile Development Methodology is a plus

  • Optional:  Certifications:  CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM
