Salesforce is seeking to hire a Sr. Product Analyst to take our Platform Engineering M&A program to new heights. Trust is the highest value at Salesforce and this program is considered one of the highest priorities within the Business Technology portfolio. The Sr. Product Analyst will work on integration projects related to Salesforce acquisitions. This person will have a deep skill in working within an agile framework to help us scale our overall velocity and perform a critical role in integrating legacy services such as network, systems, storage, database, client, security, application, and cloud services. This role will conduct investigations into people, process, and technology in order to understand business requirements,determine integration options and user experience.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in bridging the gap culturally between Salesforce and newly acquired teams, having awareness of policy and operating differences, to solve for unique use cases while adhering to our standards. This role will have a deep understanding of our technical environment as well as Salesforce business processes and values, to share that information as an ambassador for Salesforce to our acquisitions.

As mergers and acquisitions are inherently a significant change for both Salesforce and its new colleagues, it is vital that the candidate is proficient in organizing and communicating information both patiently and efficiently, streamlining the synchronization of policies and procedures while maintaining the corporate culture that enables success here at Salesforce.


  • Conduct extensive investigations into business use cases and requirements, clearly document, communicate and collaborate with engineers for the design of technical solutions.

  • Analyze data, conduct surveys, hold focus groups, and other meetings to facilitate gathering of business needs, requirements and success criteria. Output should accurately reflect the business value, backed up by key performance indicators around cost, productivity, time saved, or other tangible metrics.

  • Business engagement throughout the execution of the projects to ensure a successful transition through communication, change management, training, and post-implementation hypercare support.

  • Qualify business requests for submission through the project intake process.

  • Engage with cross-functional IT teams to socialize business requirements and analyze options for technical solutions. Ensuring compliance to business objectives, while proactively identifying any blockers, gaps and dependencies.

  • Engage with different agile teams across the organization to define and plan work to be executed according to priority of business value delivered.

  • Coordinate end to end lifecycle of pilots, UATs and application testing.

  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with the functional stakeholders in various business groups and IT.

  • Vendor engagement as needed.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with 6 - 8 years of hands-on experience working in Enterprise environments with over 4,000 users as a Product Analyst or similar role

  • Background in business process analysis, system requirements, as well as data modeling and detailed functional design

  • Prior experience with IT Infrastructure, including network, systems, storage, database, client, security, applications, cloud, and conferencing services (Webex, Gotomeeting, Intercall, etc.)

  • Prior experience working within an agile organization, preferably with Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban experience

  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as active listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences at multiple levels in the organization

  • Highly organized with superb documentation skills

  • Ability to work on multiple efforts simultaneously, prioritize conflicting demands, and set expectations accordingly

  • Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills

  • Great oral and written communication skills, able to effectively communicate with executives, business partners, and technical people.

  • Ability to work well and collaborate with other teams of various skill levels

  • Team player, able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams with the flexibility to work with team members in different time zones

  • Highly motivated self-starter, who can proactively run with tasks and projects on their own, but able to adapt quickly when priorities change

  • Agile Certified

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with SaaS, PaaS and IaaS

  • Agile project management

  • Knowledge of general concepts in Information Security

  • Curious, open and empathetic mindset

  • One or more industry certifications
