The Oracle Communications Security Shield Cloud (OCSS) group is looking for a Software Developer to join the team. This position can be based anywhere in the US.

Oracle’s OCSS product provides the highest level of protection by applying adaptive intelligence and dynamic verification to every call, automatically enforcing policy-based mitigation, and delivering a 360-degree view of your communications traffic, all in real-time.

The Software Developer will be part of a scrum team developing SaaS applications based on the Oracle Cloud. The primary software development language will be Java. Development will be done using cutting-edge Cloud related technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with SaaS application development

  • Proficiency in Java.

  • Experience with the following technologies:

  • Oracle Cloud

  • Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Zookeeper, Spring

  • Framework and Sprint Boot, OpenStack, ELK

  • Stack, Tomcat, WebLogic, Jenkins, Hudson, Git, and Subversion Experience

  • Object-oriented design.

  • Experience with Agile software development methodology and Scrum

  • Some travel to Morrisville, NC and Burlington MA.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Colorado Pay Range: From $83,807 to $159,727 per annum
