The Solutions Engineering Enablement team is responsible for the learning and development needs of the organization, decrease ramp time and increase productivity.
What is a Solutions Engineer?
The Solution Engineer is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in company’s technology infrastructure, and to remove all technical objections in the sales cycle. In order to enable the Solutions Engineers to accomplish this, the Solution Engineer Enablement team member must have a background in leveraging their technical and/or sales skills to effectively enable the solutions engineers to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, and configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.
Contribute to shorten a new hire’s ramp time and increase sales attainment level through training, coaching, and effective tools.
Develop and provide training programs across the solutions engineering organization
Program Design, Development and Maintenance: Design and create the suite of Product and Cloud programs and content required to enable our sales engineers to ramp, grow and succeed at our scheduled pace. Programs are blending learning channels from online, to on-the-job and in-class enablement.
Collate, organise and maintain the large suite of the Solutions materials, webinars and offerings with attention to detail and accuracy
Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with many stakeholders throughout the organization to prioritize enablement needs. Understand the releases of every new product and feature on a quarterly basis, ability to then plan, collaborate and prioritize with teams to design the most impactful solution to the business
5+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering preferred, or Program Management, Sales, or Enablement, with a consistent proven track record of over achievement of expectations
3+ years Program / Project Management experience preferable
Sales Enablement or Learning and Development experience preferable
Understanding of CRM and Marketing Cloud solutions and features a strong advantage∙
Strong communication, presentation, organizational and time management skills
Experience working in a fast paced, multi-cultural environment
Self-motivated, accountable, detail-oriented and resourceful
Bachelor's or Master's degree
Enterprise Selling Motion: It is imperative to have both a deep knowledge of the end to end selling motion in the enterprise software market, but also a personal point of view on best practices and a conviction to implement them.
Communications and Relationship Building: To ensure that we have the right buy in for the activities we are driving. Perhaps the most important of all requirements are the communication skills, both written and verbal, that allow this leader to establish working relationships with account executives and sales executives.
Analytical Mindset: Helps with reasoning and insights to drive more structured conversations and will drive more structured actions that will help drive the right sales activities.
Critical Thinking: Distilling the business requirements of account executives and sales leaders requires both active listening skills and critical thinking.
Accountability: The ideal candidates realize that sales teams invest only in training that produce business outcomes, and, as such, has a strong sense of accountability in the programs they design and deliver.
Influencing Skills: Understanding and aligning the requirements of the field blended with the global enablement objectives to ensure buy-in and flawless execution of initiatives.
