The LifePRO division of EXL is a team dedicated to the development and implementation of the EXL LifePRO insurance administration system for Life, Health and Annuity Business. LifePRO streamlines policy administration for insurance companies through features such as a flexible product engine, real-time customer service and extensive agent compensation support.
The Senior Business Analyst elicits and documents system requirements from clients for modifications to the LifePRO system.
Document business and functional requirements per client needs.
Collaborate with Development and system SME’s for the creation of development tasks.
Create test cases for use in Quality Assurance testing.
Replicate scenarios for proof of concept to uncover system functionality gaps.
Support Development and Quality Assurance efforts as needed.
Perform Quality Assurance testing for modifications as needed.
Recreate incidents for debugging efforts.
Complete remote and onsite client consulting for system functionality.
Support internal projects as needed.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university preferred or equivalent work experience within the Insurance/financial industry.
Certifications in Insurance or financial services industry preferred.
Work Experience Requirements:
At least 8 years of experience with medium to large sized projects.
Completing client consulting engagements.
Leading software design efforts.
Leading incident resolution.
Leading process enhancement efforts.
Creating and presenting training programs.
Training and mentoring lesser experienced team members.
Technical Skills Required:
Life, Health or Annuity insurance knowledge.
LifePRO system knowledge or user experience.
IT Business Analysis experience.
Understanding of insurance related government and ACORD standards.
Project management skills.
