Overview of Job Function:
The Sr. Solution Delivery Architect (Sr. SDA) is responsible for providing technical leadership, validating solution design, ensuring customer and Verint team readiness, driving issue resolution throughout the life cycle of the project. This Professional Services role requires a wide range and significant depth of technical knowledge and the ability to interpret Customer requirements aligned with the purchased solution and translate these into technical delivery specifications and tasks. The Sr. SDA may be asked to provide input during the quotation stage of the sales cycle to ensure solution viability and adequate professional services content. The Sr. SDA must be flexible in ability to travel to customer sites during key project timeframes with up to 25% travel required.
Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
•Head responsibility to delivery technical architectural design, plans and strategies to be delivered in customer engagement.
•Provide consulting on design inquires
•Highly-skilled with extensive proficiency in definining end to end solutions with knowledge on various third party integrations
•Change Champion: Key communicator and promoter of new ideas; ability to embrace, facilitate and support team members through the change journey
•Assess, validate and deliver a comprehensive technical design and implementation plans that meet business and functional requirements within the scope of the project
•Provide innovative ideas and recommendations on product enhancement to drive more value, improve efficiency, and reduce Total Cost of Ownership.
•Technical lead for project implementations, and provide authoritative guidance to the project team
•Lead discussion around roadmap, system architecture, infrastructure and integration requirements based on industry trends and future growth
•Ensure the technical readiness for all areas of a project.
•Build and foster customer relationships during project lifecycle.
•Document the solution design utilizing standard tools for both customer-facing and internal support purposes while adhering to ISO 9001 Development and Design principles.
•Assist the Project Manager in developing the resource plan and budget to meet project delivery requirements and assess the budget burn rate.
•Drive implementation issue resolution by providing hands-on troubleshooting support and engaging the developers as needed using established escalation process.
•Provide status of escalated issues to project team utilizing established process. This includes issues, resolution progress and identification of next steps.
•Lead transition activities to ensure that all resources assigned to the project are adequately prepared.
•Define relevant test scenarios to thoroughly vet the ability of the solution to meet its intended requirements.
•Review evidence that the solution has been thoroughly tested and ready for turnover to Support, and participate in the transition meeting.
•Work without supervision in a role with extensive latitude for independent judgment.
•Demonstrate extensive industry knowledge with the ability to assist and mentor associates.
•Submit time appropriately and in compliance with policy and process.
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent work experience
•10 years of experience in solution architecture, troubleshooting and deployment through systems integration methods
•Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Operating System, strong database skills and telephony environments including VoIP and TDM technology.
•Strong communication and technical writing skills.
•The ability to obtain the necessary credit line required to travel.
•Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, SS Verification, as well as credit and drug screening, where applicable and in accordance with federal and local regulations

•Technical certification, e.g., Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, Avaya, AWS, Azure
•Knowledge of Computer Telephony Integration (CTI)
•Knowledge of Databases, including SQL statements, relational database theory, database administration, and database security.
•Experience with Operating systems, such as Windows, Citrix, and Linux OS
•Knowledge of Server architecture / hardware and storage
•Experience with Authentication technology, e.g., Active Directory, SAML, Biometrics, OpenID
•Familiarity with project life cycles
•Experience with PCI/Security
•Knowledge of Networking and networking protocols: LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, SSL
•Knowledge of CRM packages (e.g. Saleforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle)
•Experience with Call Center Recording, Quality-Assurance, Analytics products
•Experience with third party diagnostic and troubleshooting tools, e.g., Fiddler, Wireshark
•Familiarity with “Big Data” solutions and analytics suites
•Knowledge of programming, scripting and application integration.
•Prior knowledge of Verint product architecture, and solution suite
