Job Description

The Sr. Specialist, Business/Tech Analysis position is responsible for providing Account Management support through business analysis activity for key initiatives in the US Vaccines organization for our Company's Global Human Health US Market. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on highly integrated teams defining the expectations for critical IT programs that enable our Company's contracting strategies. The challenging, fast-paced, and visible initiatives deliver significant and measurable value to our Company. This role will be a key collaborative capability joining business subject matter expertise with IT enablement.

The key responsibilities of this role may include but are not limited to:

  • Provide business analysis domain support for the US Vaccines organization specifically in the contracting space.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients across functional areas and prioritize client expectations.

  • Define business user stories for and relative priority of proposed IT investments as well as develop metrics, and track project realization.

  • Ensure traceability between user stories/requirements and testing

  • Assist in the management/coordination of User Acceptance testing for the IT releases

  • Provide strategic expertise and thought leadership to the business clients and program delivery team.

  • Act as a credible change agent to align the client IT portfolio with the overall business strategy.

  • Manage the IT spend and strive to achieve synergies using a continuous improvement mind-set.

  • Enable the One IT vision in alignment with the IT Client Service Leaders and Platform Leaders.

  • Share and leverage global best practices and utilization of capabilities with the broader our Company's Global Human Health IT community.

  • Minimal travel expected - up to 5% of the time, mostly within the Americas region and IT hubs.

Education Minimum:

  • Bachelors Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant technical experience in Information Technology role.

  • Demonstrated experience with Business Requirements Specifications, Business Case development, and workshop facilitation

  • Excellent communication and relationship skills along with high personal integrity, credibility, and energy.

  • Results-orientation with the proven ability to execute on collaborative project plans.

  • Working knowledge of analytical skills, problem solving and attention to detail.

  • Desire to develop extensive subject matter expertise in an enterprise-critical, challenging, and highly visible segment of our Company's US Market.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Prior experience working in support of pharmaceutical contracting, sales, or marketing.

  • Experience with our company systems development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence

  • Experience working within a DevOps Model using automation tools

  • Experience as a Business Analyst on an Agile team including writing user stories in collaboration with business partners
