We are seeking a high energy, data driven, results-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to continue to raise our high bar in quality leadership.

Specific responsibilities for this position include:

  • Provide real-time production support for supplier-related issues; ensure suppliers’ delivery and quality support production requirements, plant quality metrics and customer expectations

  • Alert supplier of issues; coordinate and lead defect containment measures

  • Lead relentless root cause analysis investigations and implement mistake-proof corrective actions

  • Drive timely and comprehensive corrective action reports

  • Conduct weekly action tracker meetings with key suppliers

  • Set annual supplier quality goals; perform on-site supplier process reviews in support of continuous improvement

  • Ensure supplier process capability and drive process certification

  • Support Supplier Quality processes including initiation of Material Defect Reports (MDR), Hold Tags, Return Material Authorizations (RMA) and Factory Shipping Orders (FSO)

  • Assess, coordinate and complete Supplier Deviation Requests (SDR)

  • Assist manufacturing, quality, supply chain and engineering on new product development teams

  • Conduct pre-award audits and assessments; assess supplier capability

  • Support the Quality Review Board Passport process

Qualification:

  • Past work experience as a quality, supplier-interfacing role and/or in a related manufacturing or electronics environment is preferred

  • Experience with continuous improvement tools and processes

  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Analytical thinking skills and problem solving abilities

  • Excellent project management skills and comfortable communicating at all levels of management and with external customers and suppliers

  • Highly motivated, organized and flexible individual that is customer and results-focused

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2–5+ years experience

  • Master's degree with 0–2+ years experience

Degree in Engineering preferred.
