Description:

The IT Salesforce Systems Engineer is accountable for a line of business support on complex Salesforce implementations. The Systems Engineer will be the primary technical and process expert in their service area and will work in partnership with developers, business stakeholders, and other technology teams that impact their end-to-end business process area of expertise. Daily activities will include but are not limited to, resolving technical and functional applications issues, performing trend analysis and identifying enhancements to reduce support requests, and partnering with development teams to improve the design of new functionality. The successful candidate must be agile and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Understands all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to ongoing releases

  • Manages tasks and projects in a fast-paced operations environment, driving all issues to resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficient task execution

  • Perform tasks related to the day-to-day operations of several large implementations of Salesforce including managing user access, sharing model, creation, and maintenance of custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, lightning flows, validation rules, page layouts, and troubleshooting of Apex and integrations

  • Integrate data sources (salesforce org) with C360 Data Manager(DM)

  • Designing and managing the identity resolution rules for each contact and account using C360 Data Manager(DM)

  • Partner with the development scrum teams and other interconnected IT groups to optimize the end-to-end process including monitoring, deployment, and production support

  • Implement monitoring framework to proactively identify issues

  • Actively transfers knowledge throughout the organization, participates in knowledge sharing projects to develop best practices, conducts technology/applications deep dive sessions, and mentors junior staff and new hires

  • Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all written security policies, SOX procedures, and change management controls

Required Skills:

  • 6-8 years previous Salesforce application development or support with a minimum 300-seat environment handling all aspects of CRM, case management, and platform maintenance

  • 4+ years of experience programming or supporting Triggers, Apex Code and Visualforce Pages

  • Expert knowledge of best practices regarding Salesforce implementations, including design patterns, release management, deployment strategies, and testing best practices

  • Demonstrated ability to manage overall business initiative or several components of a large, complex project with direct experience in Agile and Scrum;

  • Ability to engage with self-awareness as required to avoid conflicts with customers based on personality differences and to make suggestions in a manner that is more likely to result in the desired outcome

  • Good project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects/tasks across various user groups

  • Experience with Salesforce developer toolkit including Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, and data migration tools like data loader, workbench, etc.,

  • Experience working with large datasets and a strong understanding of data modeling capabilities.

  • Excellent proficiency in Salesforce's Web Services, APIs, SOQL, SOSL, and security model

  • Expert knowledge with Lightning Experience, Analytics, App Builder, Lightning flows (Process Builders, Flows)

  • Must be a self-starter and Salesforce trailblazer who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong team player with a service-oriented attitude and customer focus

  • Familiarity with SOX protocols, Change Management, and Release Management guiding principles and processes

  • Experience with database concepts and data modeling capabilities

  • Salesforce Administrator (201) and Platform Developer I

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced Administrator (211) Certification

  • Sales Cloud or Service Cloud Certification

  • Experience with Object-Oriented design and programming, and MVC

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript (JS)

  • Experience with Javascript frameworks such as Jquery and/or ExtJS

  • Experience with additional Platforms like Heroku, Mulesoft, or Automation Anywhere
