That's how our heritage has led us to evolve from a piano maker to one of the leading contract furniture manufacturers to craft what's next so everyone can perform at their best.Job Description:Responsibilities:Supports/travels to both the Santa Claus, IN and Fordsville, KY locations.Responsible for line designs, workstation and operational- definitionsDevelops excellent working relationship with customers and peersResponsible to identify appropriate cycle, TAKT and product throughput timeParticipate in and lead Continuous improvement efforts as projects requireResponsible for line and work-station design. This will include assessments and adjustments to enhance productivity and adjust capacity as neededAble to apply concepts such as DFA/DFM, Lean Manufacturing/DFT, Poka-Yoke, etc.Capable of setting up processes that include a variety of materials including wood, metal, plastic, and glassDevelops processes that are safe and ergonomically suitableDevelops, communicates, and participates in implementing manufacturing process strategies capable of producing defect free products that consistently meet customer requirements for value and pricingConducts root cause investigationsDevelops root cause investigation correctionsDevelops work instructions and OMSPlans and identifies fixture and hand tools, incorporating mistake proofing into the processResponsible for pilot runs and process verification for sign off prior to production.iSkills to Perform This Role:iInterpersonal SkillsTeam OrientedStrong drive for successCustomer centricPossess a high degree of integrity.Ability to keep humor in the workplace.Ability to build and sustain relationships.Flexible and open to change.Tactful Assertive Positive attitude.Patient Honest and ethicalCreative thinkingTechnical SkillsStrong mechanical knowledgePC literate.
