Electrical/Computer Engineer Co-Op (Spring 2019)
Develop / Test Electronic Circuitry & Software for Meetering Products and Test Equipment.
Communicate with Hardware or Software Architects, Systems Engineering and Product Management to understand and implement requirements.
Analyzes designs; develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry equipment to establish operating data; and conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
Develop requirements from customer’s specifications.
Design and develop moderately complex software-based systems using functional specifications, requirements documentation, and other inputs.
Track Requirements by assembling requirements analyses and keeping RAM up to date.
Develop Production Test Specifications.
Supports and adheres to Company’s core values.
Performs other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required.

The ability to understand engineering principles in the following areas: Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, Software, Systems.
Excellent listening skills and ability to understand information and ideas presented through spoken words.

Must have proficient multitasking, organizational and time management skills.
Computer skills that include Microsoft Office software. Experience using Lab View, and other test programs is desirable. Ability to learn new programs little or no mentoring.
Ability to use most engineering laboratory tools to perform testing.
Excellent relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently or on a team.
Enrollment in a four-year degree is required from an accredited university, preferably, in the field of Engineering (Electrical or Computer) or Computer Science.
