Job Description

General Engineering Lab Coop (3 Rotation)

The Co-op program is designed to enhance the quality and scope of learning by providing students the option of integrating academic study with related, work based learning. Position begins Fall 2018 and applicants must be enrolled in the undergraduate program and available for a rotating semester schedule:

  • Represent Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both external and internal customers.

  • Support and adhere to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

General Engineering Lab Rotation (First Rotation)

  • Theory and practical application of Revenue Metering

  • Introduction to Compliance Engineering and Testing Methods

  • Data Collection, Evaluation and Analysis

  • Interpretation of International and Domestics Standards and test procedures

  • Test Equipment Calibration and Certification

  • Engineering evaluation of component, assembly and product

General Engineering Lab Rotation (Second Rotation)

  • Advance Compliance Testing and Applications (50%)

  • Continuous Improvement Project Focused on Test System Design and Automation (50%)

Required Skills

Required Skills:

  • Personal Computer knowledge

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Keyboard/typing skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

Required Experience

Co-op applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Electrical Engineering or other relevant major required.
