Additionally, a degree verification will be ordered at time of hire.POSTING DETAILSPosition Information POSITION TITLE Assessment Analyst ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The Division of Online and Strategic Learning at Ball State University is seeking a dynamic individual to lead and assist with assessment, educational research, and analytical methodologies, tools, and resources. The position of Assessment Analyst also will provide qualitative and quantitative analyses and consultations in regards to projects involving teaching and learning practices at Ball State, including but not limited to, online learning, blended learning, teaching and learning technologies, and creative pedagogy. The successful candidate will be able to develop and provide data-driven insights and supports for assessment of teaching and learning, using proven methods and standard data collection techniques. The Assessment Analyst will be a part of the Research and Development (RandD) Team in the Division of Online and Strategic Learning, reporting to the Director of RandD. MINIMUM EDUCATION Master s degree in a relevant field. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE One year of experience in learning analytics, assessment, quantitative analysis, or related field. MINIMUM OTHER AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE US Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. PREFERRED EDUCATION Doctoral degree in a relevant field. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Three years of experience in assessing higher education; three years of experience in research and analytics; knowledge of classroom assessment techniques; detail oriented with an ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment; ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners in a professional way.
