MINIMUM EDUCATION Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university in visual communication, graphic design, or related field. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE Three years of related experience working with clients to produce visual deign solutions for publications and other communications; thorough knowledge of graphic design principles; expertise in and strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software; excellent verbal and written communication skills. MINIMUM OTHER Thorough knowledge of graphic design principles, printing processes, and paper and ink characteristics; expertise in Adobe Creative Suite software and excellent communication skills. PREFERRED EDUCATION Bachelor s of Fine Arts degree from a accredited college or university in visual communication, graphic design, or related field. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Additional years of professional experience in the field of visual communication, including routine contact with clients, formal presentation of work, press proofing, and art directing photography/videography; experience managing multiple projects, meeting demanding deadlines, and working as part of a team in an agency or higher education setting; knowledge of printing processes and paper and ink characteristics; animation/digital/interactive design experience, including developing motion graphics; familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress.
