Job Descriptioniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iJob Title iProcess Techniciani Department iProductionReports to i Shift SupervisoriSummary / ObjectiveThe Process Technician is required to maintain the control of processes in injection molding. This role also provides support to the execution of the production schedule including anything from component changes, setups and startups for plastics.iEssential FunctionsDirecting/monitoring the production schedule.Perform mold and/or material changes as dictated by the production schedule.Perform process troubleshooting, part inspections and various other functions to insure part conformity and quality; verify paperwork for jobs and completion of inspections at SOR/EORMonitor and prepare support equipment i.e. thermalators, grinders, etcAssist in production area as needed, including break coverage as needed.iCompetenciesOperation Monitoring Active listeningCritical ThinkingAttention to detailGood hand/Eye dexterity and ability to cross-train into other areasReading ComprehensionStrong communication skillsiSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.iiWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, safety gate operation, pushing, pulling, reaching and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.iPosition Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. Weekends and over-time are required, when needed.iTravelTravel is primarily local during business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.iRequired Education and ExperienceMinimum of a high school education and one year of factory-related experience in manufacturing.Previous Technician experience is helpful.Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
