Mechanical Drafter

A full-service sports equipment manufacturer focused on creating optimal play experiences is looking to hire a Mechanical Drafter to their team as their project load continues to increase. We are an active member of national sports organizations, participating in FIBA, NFHS, and NCAA.

Daily Responsibilities

This mechanical drafter will be responsible for creating engineering drawings/blueprints from templates for in-house manufacturing and job site installation. This drafter will work with the engineering team to get drawings for components and assemblies that will need to be redlined, modified, and sent to the manufacturing team in order for production. They will be spending 100% of their time in Autodesk Inventor and will be expected to be proficient. They will collaborate with other drafters/designers and their Engineering Manager to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Must Have

· 2+ years of experience in Mechanical Drafting or Design in assembly drawings

· Proficient in Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software.

· Experience reading product prints and architectural blueprints.

Nice to Have

· Worked with products that are attached to large structures.

The project load will vary, however in our busiest times, we could have 30 projects that are supported by a team of 5. Because of this, we need someone to be able to work on multiple projects at once. You will be evaluated by completing these projects on time and correctly.

Best candidates will have proficiency in Autodesk Inventor. The best possible candidates will have worked with a product that is hung from structures and be able to read an architectural blueprint.
