Our promise to over 12,400 employees in about 40 countries is to enable them to develop their own ideas and to drive them forward.Your role and responsibilitiesEvaluate work processes to determine strategies and programs which provide greater productivity and efficiency of production functions by performing the following duties.Oversee the installation and startup of new equipment and initiate any modifications, as they become necessary.Provide technical support for production area staff. Improve production through the implementation of new processes and equipment.Troubleshoot equipment or machine problems that are used on the floor for production.Update OMS documents as used in the manufacturing process.Respond to feedback and improvement suggestions from operators about the machines, fixtures and other equipment.Gather information to evaluate current work processes in order to determine the flow of work, time requirements, costs, and duration using Lean and Six Sigma and other continuous improvement concepts.Investigate, develop, propose and implement cost saving measures regarding the manufacture of products.What is required for this roleMinimum of a Bachelor's Degree inEngineering preferably Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrialand a minimum of two years of process engineering experience.Demonstrated aptitude for mechanical designPrior experience in PLCs, Automated Manufacturing Machinery, and production operationsPrior experience in the successful selection, justification and installation of capital equipmentDemonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment and correctly identify required repairsPrior experience and training in Lean and Six SigmaComputer Skills: Computer literate in basic application software systems (Word, Excel, Outlook, Labview, AutoCad, minitab, etc.)Must be able to Utilize LabView, OEE Reader, e-VSM, etc. to work with data acquisition and analysis.Our recruiting team will carefully review and consider each individual application.
