Our Clinical Nutrition Support will cover direct clinical nutrition care responsibilities for multiple Trilogy senior living health campuses in our Richmond, Indiana Area. Successful applicants will be passionate about caring for the elderly, and able to work in and to create a positive working experience as part of a team. This position requires an energetic personality who is able to work independently and efficiently.

Responsible for the support of clinical dining services strategic objectives, culinary education and food services for Health Campus facilities. Ensures compliance with nutritional, dietary and regulatory standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides and supports improved resident service through culinary training menu development by food and beverage preparation, fostering a resident choice philosophy.

  • Provides leadership and campus specific guidelines to improve resident services and culinary training that parallels menu objectives and associated food and beverage preparation.

  • Provides direct hands on support with in-service training and identifies action plans reports to ensure high quality dining services.

  • Achieves tactical goals to measurably improve resident and team member satisfaction and support cross-disciplined initiatives.

  • Provides assistance to Health Campus staff to effectively manage food and beverage cost, operating expenditures and staff productivity.

  • Provides input and guidance based upon resident choice to implement weekly menu cycles, therapeutic menus, Café selections and Sunday Brunch in accordance with established menu engineering principles.

  • Reviews with dieticians, the assessment of the nutritional needs of residents.

  • Develops and evaluates regular and therapeutic diets, including texture of foods and liquids to meet the specialized needs of residents.

  • Assists in the development and implementation of person centered education programs involving food and nutrition services for all campus staff.

  • Reviews and assists with the budget and purchase of food and supplies and food preparation service and storage.

  • Participates in the assurance and performance improvement (QAPI), when food and nutrition services are involved.

  • Manages food and beverage specifications and quality initiatives in conjunction with Health Campus dining services leadership to ensure applicable standards are met.

  • Ensures that requirements relative to Certified Dietary Management and Serve Safe throughout all regions are in compliance.

  • Provides compassionate leadership to exceed standards in food and dining excellence.

  • Manages Dining Services policy and procedures that ensure compliance with nutritional, dietary and regulatory standards.

  • Prioritizes and integrates in-service training.

  • Executes in-service training as defined by action plan standards or specifically identified Health Campus needs.

  • Assists with acquisitions, integration and proposed expansion as directed by operations management.

  • Manages Dining Services policies and procedures to ensure compliance with nutritional, dietary and regulatory standards.

  • Execute standards to comply with Health Campus and Company marketing initiatives.

  • Integrates and maintains standards for dining room presentation and food and beverage quality.

  • Cultivates Dining Services and supports inter-departmental efforts to achieve goals and objectives.

  • Travel (60 %) including overnight stay as necessary.


  • Bachelor's or higher degree granted by a regionally accredited college or university in the United States (or an equivalent foreign degree) with completion of the academic requirements of a program in nutrition or dietician accredited by an appropriate national accreditation organization recognized for this purpose.

Completed at least 900 hours of supervised dietetics practice under the supervision of a registered dietician or nutrition professional.


  • Licensed or certified as a dietician or nutrition professional by the State in which the services are performed. In a State that does not provide for licensure or certification, the individual will be deemed to have met this requirement if recognized as a "registered dietician" by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or successor organization.


  • Five (5) years’ experience dietary and nutrition experience in a senior living, long-term care, or other health care industry.

  • Five (5) years’ experience in a multi-facility environment preferred.

  • Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
