U.S. Bank Referral Partnership Consultant - Corporate Payment Systems in Richmond, Indiana

FUNCTION

  • Develops profitable new integration and referral partnerships.

  • Identifies business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products and services.

  • Generate new referral partnership opportunities.

  • Makes presentations to prospective partners informing them of benefits of products and services and how those products and services can benefit their downstream customers.

  • Implements and maintains an effective referral network and call program.

  • Coordinates with internal partners to ensure our new partners are compliant to U.S. Bank regulatory and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED

  • 10 years of related work experience.

  • Expert-level of knowledge of a specific business line or functional area.

  • Well-developed organizational and analytical skills.

  • Thorough level of knowledge in project management.

  • Well-developed ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data.

  • Well-developed knowledge of assigned business line or functional area.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

PREFERRED

  • Well-developed sales and new business development skills.

  • Willingness to some cold calls to prospective partners.

  • Advanced knowledge of commercial payment products including virtual cards.

  • Advanced knowledge of CPS products, services, operations, policies and procedures.

  • Thorough knowledge of product marketing, client service issues, and organization operations.

  • Strong marketing and negotiating skills, emphasizing the development of sales strategies and goals.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong customer service/relation skills with ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
