Kforce has a client seeking a Production Supervisor in Roanoke, IN.Responsibilities:

• Supervise hourly team members and effectively handle timekeeping, manpower, and disciplinary issues

• Deliver timely and thorough problem solving of potential supplier quality issues

• Respond in a timely manner to calls for Quality support from Production or Materials; Initiate part sorts and reworks as needed and maintain breakpoints of sorted/reworked parts

• Work with Quality Engineers and Supplier contacts to resolve open quality issues

• Communicate status of sorts, reworks, and ongoing parts issues to all relevant stakeholders

• Attend various meetings as necessary

• Work on all three shifts, required Saturdays, and vacation coverage

• Must have at least a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing

• Must have experience reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings and CAD data

• Must be proficient in MS Office; MS Access and Visual Basic programming skills are a plus

• Must have excellent communication skills
