Responsible for the Training Ship Simulator (TSS) optimum safety, performance and system availability. System maintenance and troubleshooting on Complex Digital and Analog Computer Controlled Systems, eLearning LAN (Simulator, Lab), Projection system, Electrical power supplies, UPS.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with manufactures standards.
Monthly Reports and Annual CLS Inspection.
Reports to the Project Manager and Site Supervisor
Primary Job Functions:
Safety Precautions including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment and Tools.
Liaise between Kratos and the Customer in all technical issues.
Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.
Perform DRT (Daily Readiness Testing), ensure hardware and software readiness.
Run diagnostics to ascertain correct operations of computer systems and diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctions as required including Programmable Logic Controller (PLC).
Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting (digital and analog) hardware.
Provide on-site training for Civilian and Military maintenance personnel as required.
Control and manage ICL/R (Inventory Checklist/Record) – Spare List/Capacity.
May hold Site Manager positions or act as Site Managers as required.
Follow the direction of the Site Managers, Project Managers, Senior Project Managers and all Kratos leadership
Secondary Job Functions:
Assist in providing On-the–Job-Training (OJT) and/or theoretical training on various tasks to customer as required.

Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds over head.
Must be able to walk and/or climb stairs and ladder into the simulator.
Must be able to stoop, bend, and crawl on top or under the device.
Language Requirements: Fluent in English and Arabic
Experience with troubleshooting hardware to assembly level. Perform required replacement, alignment and adjustment. Run system level diagnostics on all systems and sub-systems. Strong digital and analog troubleshoot experience. Responsible for corrective and preventive maintenance and monitoring of simulation infrastructure, collaborate with other team members to develop strategies and deployment processes. You will be an integral part of the team. Preferred: experience with military contracts.
Education: BS Electrical Engineering and at least three (4) years’ experience
Experience as a Systems Engineer on complex runtime simulators for at least five (5) years.
