Pet Supplies Plus IT Support Analyst in Seymour (Distribution), Indiana

Our Pet Supplies Plus distribution center (Pet Depot) in Seymour, IN is seeking an IT Support Analyst to provide Tier I support for all IT related issues. This role will be expected to help configure, test, analyze and support WMS applications in support of core organizational functions and business processes.

IT Support Analyst key responsibilities include:

  • Providing Tier I level, on-site technical support to distribution center facility with a minimum of 175 employees. Support facility Supply Chain applications, hardware and processes including, but not limited to: Manhattan WMOS, Microsoft Office, RF and wireless terminals, network hardware, and printers.

  • May be part of an on-call rotation for after-hours support as necessary.

  • Tracking, documenting and resolving incidents and requests reported during deployment of new applications as well as enhancements to existing applications.

  • Facilitating communications between and among experience business and IT team members.

  • Working with a remote Infrastructure support team to resolve on-site technical and system issues in a timely manner.

  • Providing end-user training along with site-level support; performing all functions in accordance with IT and the company’s business practices.

  • Performing audits with the operation to validate system configuration against end-user execution.

  • Designing and developing a knowledge bank to document resolutions for future post-action analysis.

  • Collaborating with the team in the planning, design, and development of new and existing applications and processes.

IT Support Analyst requirements include:

  • 2-3 years of related work experience or professional certification in distribution/operations or training.

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Organization and project skills, with the ability to multi-task across multiple projects.

  • Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

  • A self-starter with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

  • An understanding of general Distribution Warehouse Management System concepts, specialically retail (Manhattan WMOS) a plus.

  • Participation in IT project lifecycles/ implementation projects is preferred.

  • Previous experience in a Technical Support role, help desk, or Technical Repair/Test Bench role preferred.
