This position is a Manufacturing/Process Development Engineer with medical device or pharma industry experience; their role will consist of planning the manufacturing processes, buying equipment, validating the equipment (IQ/OQ/PQ), and determine what parts and tools may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree

• 5+ years of experience in a medical device manufacturing setting working with small assemblies/components

• Plan and design manufacturing processes for a highly regulated industry (Med device and pharmaceutical drug delivery).

• Has built Automation equipment in the manufacturing environment

• Knows Automation ramp up from development stage manufacturing to high volume manufacturing;

Duties

• Determine parts and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification

• Customer interfacing- requirement creation, project status updates, etc.

• Define and purchase equipment

• Develop and implement “Manumation”, and “Automation”

• Maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods and work force utilization

• Drive improvement of unit cost
