You are:
A client focused individual that will provide support in maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing over 300 desktop and printers used in our product assembly, product returns and outbound order fulfillment operations
The individual that will support the use of over thirty production software applications used to support our product assembly operations.
An individual that will collaborate with production managers
An expert with comprehending technical documents
You will:
Diagnose desktop PC and label printer problems and perform repair or replacement
Provide troubleshooting and programming support for RF guns used in order fulfillment
Install applications and software updates
Create outage tickets or direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
Work with Pitney Bowes NetOps team to provide local network support
Provide technical support to local operations management
Work closely with Shelton, CT based software development team to help diagnose and correct issues
Provide direction and support during installation of new Cat6 network cabling. This will require the installation of RJ45 connectors and switch connections
Qualifications
Your Background:
Proven work experience as a desktop support engineer or similar role
Hands-on experience with Windows environment
Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals like printers and scanners
Knowledge of network security practices
Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or similar field. Preferred 2+ years of experience providing PC support
Microsoft certifications a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
